So decided to make this art post a 2 fold thing. Been practicing with Corel Painter(luving it by the way - like starting a new). not where I want to be, but it's a start, hehe.
Anyway, I decided why not practice on a piece that has so much meaning to our family, and many others of color. Self-sacrifice for a cause that at the time would literally get one killed. Dr. King took that chance. And though he tragically and unjustly lost his life, he paved the way for many many others. We honor you on this day, Mr. King. May we always remember the "why" for which you did what you did.
